We gave Sedona rice cereal for the first time using a spoon. It didn't take long for her to open her mouth for every bite. I think she likes it eventhough her face looks otherwise. If you don't have a "bumbo" you need to get one. She can sit in it all by herself and you can put it on the counter right there and feed her, do the dishes, whatever. It is a wonderful invention.
